Discard the cotter pin.

 (c)  
Remove the bolt, nut and washer.

 (d)  
Move the cable inner member to the fully retracted position at the bellcrank end.

Remove the nuts and D-head bolts that connect the tie rods to the connecting link clevises.

 (1) Lubricate the attach bolt and D-head bolt threads with grease.

(2)  S 424-010-C00Put the bellcrank assembly in position on the forward stator case of the HPC.
 NOTE:____ Do this with the sleeve between the bellcrank and the stator case at the forward lower location of the attach bolt.
 (3)  S 434-011-C00Align the attach boltholes in the bellcrank assembly with the bosses in the stator case. (a) Install the forward attach bolts and washers. (b) Hand tighten the bolts.
 (4)  S 434-012-C00Install the sleeve between the bellcrank and the stator case at the aft location for the attach bolt.
 NOTE:____ Do this with the sleeve at the locations that follow: - the upper bolt location on the bellcrank assembly - the lower bolt location on the right bellcrank assembly.
 (a) (b)  Install the bolt and washer.Hand tighten the bolt.
 (5)  S 434-013-C00Install the bolt, washer and spacer at the locations that follow: (a) The aft location of the lower bolt on the left bellcrank assembly. (b) The aft location on the upper bolt on the right bellcrank assembly.
 (6)  S 434-019-C00Hand tighten the bolts.
 (7)  S 434-014-C00Tighten the four attach bolts to 55-70 pound-inches (6.2-7.9 Newton meters).
 (8)  S 434-015-C00Align the tie rod ends with the connecting link clevises.
