(1) Open the right fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROCEDURE TO OPEN THE THRUST
_______ REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU OPEN THE THRUST REVERSERS, INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

Open the right thrust reverser half (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Remove the fan duct panel at the 2:30 o'clock position
(AMM 72-33-03/401).

Put the ratchet wrench into the drive shaft of the bleed valve and ballscrew actuator and engage it.
NOTE: Do this at the free end of one of the two halves of the VBV

linkage system.

(5) Turn the shaft.
NOTE: Approximately 18 turns are necessary for the full system
____
travel.

(6) Listen for a click when the system gets to the travel limit against the stop mechanism of the bleed valve.
