(20) If the feedback cable was replaced, install a clevis end on the replacement cable as follows:
(a)
Turn a jamnut and clevis end on the cable end.
(b)
Do a check that the thread is sufficiently engaged.
NOTE: Make sure a 0.032 inch (0.80 mm) diameter lockwire does

not go through the witness hole.
(c) Tighten the jamnut against the clevis end to 60-70 pound-inches (6.8-7.9 Newton meters).

(21) If the feedback cable was replaced, install a rod end bearing on the replacement cable as follows:
(a)
Turn a jamnut and rod end bearing on the cable end.
(b)
Do a check that the thread is sufficiently engaged.
NOTE: Make sure a 0.032 inch (0.80 mm) diameter lockwire does

not go through the witness hole.
(c) Tighten the jamnut against the rod end bearing to
20-25 pound-inches (2.3-2.8 Newton meters).

(22) Do a check of the cable routing.

Make sure the cable is stain free.
(b)
Make sure that bends in the cable are not less than 6.0 inch (152 mm) radius.

Do a check for a minimum clearance of 0.2 inch (5.0 mm) between the VBV feedback cable and the VSV feedback cable.
(d)
Do a check for a minimum clearance of 0.2 inch (5.0 mm) between the cable and engine parts.

CAUTION:_______USE TWO WRENCHES WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE NOSE CAP. THIS IS TO PREVENT A TWISTED CABLE. USE ONE WRENCH ON THE CONDUIT CAP AND ONE ON THE NOSE CAP.
(23) Tighten the nose cap on the stop mechanism side and the MEC side to 180-200 pound-inches (20.3-22.6 Newton meters).
(a) Install a lockwire.

(24) Tighten the clamp bolts at the positions that follow to 100-110 pound-inches (11.3-12.4 Newton meters):

The 6 o'clock strut bracket.
(b)
The 6:30 o'clock rear flange bracket.
(c)
The 7 o'clock rear flange bracket.

(25) Tighten the clamp bolt that attaches the VBV feedback cable to the VSV feedback cable to 100-110 pound-inches (11.3-12.4 Newton meters).
