 (7)  Adjust the VSV's
 (a)  
Loosen the locking bolt for the VSV trimmer bracket (Fig. 506).

 (b)  
Adjust the adjustment screw for the VSV feedback to put the
 VSV's in the given limits in the table that follows:

 

 NOTE:____One turn = 6 flats = 1.62 degrees at ground idle. If you turn the adjustment screw clockwise (CW) while you look up at the head of the screw, VSV's will close. If you turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise (CCW) the VSV's will open.
 When you open the VSV's, it is recommended not to open the stators to the fully open limit to decrease the engine acceleration time. The recommended target is 0.5 degrees from the open limit. Fig. 505 gives the acceleration targets.
