 (4)  If the locking bolt on the MEC adjustment bracket is not in the center position, do the step that follows:
 (a)  Loosen the locking bolt and turn the adjustment screw.

 CAUTION: PUT THE CABLE INNER MEMBER IN THE FULLY RETRACTED POSITION WHEN
_______ THE SUPPORT TUBE AND NOSE CAP ARE REMOVED. THIS IS TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE POLISHED INNER SURFACE. DO NOT REMOVE THE SUPPORT TUBE FROM THE TWO ENDS OF THE CABLE AT THE SAME TIME.

Remove the nose cap from the conduit cap at the MEC end.

Lubricate the conduit cap threads with grease.

Carefully put the threaded part of the conduit cap into the slotted retaining bracket.

Turn the nose cap on the conduit cap.

Tighten the nose cap by hand.

 Move the cable into the rubber packing block found at the 6:30 o'clock position.

 Install the three clamps that attach the MEC end of the feedback cable as follows:


 (a)  Install the clamp bushings and inner and outer spring clips on the cable.

 (12) Lightly lubricate the bolt threads with grease.
 (a)  
Attach clamps to the 6 o'clock strut bracket.

 NOTE:____Use one bolt and one nut each. Tighten the bolts by hand.

 (b)  
Attach clamps to the 6:30 and 7 o'clock rear flange brackets of the fan frame.


 NOTE:____Use one bolt and one nut each. Tighten the bolts by hand.
