 (5)  Use fuel or oil to operate the VBV system to the closed door position.
 NOTE: To do this, apply and keep a pressure of 100-300 psi
____ (1400-2100 kPa) to the closed end tube of the VBV. When the VBV system closes, it must move freely and smoothly. The system must start to close at 100 psi (700 kPa) and must continue until it gets to the stop position. When the system gets to the stop position, it is shown by an increase in gage pressure during the hand pump operation. The gage pressure will decrease if you stop the hand pump operation.

 (a)  Tighten it to 270-300 pound-inches
 (30.5-33.9 Newton meters).
