3. Contingency arrangements - ATS routes A1/P901
3.1 ATS Route P901
3.1.1 Consequent upon the establishment by China of Danger
Areas ZG(D)155, ZG(D)156, ZG(D)157 and ZG(D)158 which
information is currently published in the AIP China, an alternate
routing - RNAV Route P901 - has been established as follows:
DANANG VOR (N1603.1 E10812.3) 066°MAG 89 NM to
ITBAM (N1640.0 E10936.1) 066°MAG 25 NM to
IPROP (N1650.3 E11000.0) 066°MAG 73 NM to
IGNIS (N1721.0 E11109.0) 040°MAG 100NM to
IKELA (N1839.7 E11214.7) 040°MAG 25NM to
IDOSI (N1900.0 E11230.0) 025°MAG 212NM to
CHEUNG CHAU VOR (CH) (N2213.2 E11401.8) and vice versa
3.1.2 The vertical limits of that part of P901 between CH
VOR and IPROP are lower limit FL135, upper limit FL460.
3.1.3 The foregoing routing is additional to existing A1
(Danang VOR-BUNTA-CAVOI-DAGON-CH VOR).
Note: The lateral and vertical limits of the part of P901 between
IPROP and Danang VOR, and the part of A1 between CAVOI and
PAPRA are 15km (8.1NM) either side of track, lower limit FL265,
upper limit FL460.
3.2 Traffic between Hong Kong, Danang VOR and
destinations beyond may flight plan for one of the following
routes:
1) A1 when Danger Areas ZG(D)155, ZG(D)156 and
ZG(D)157 notified in AIP China are inactive(see Notes below) or
2) P901 when Danger Area ZG(D)158 notified in AIP China is
inactive (see Notes below).

4. 修改的空中交通服务航路结构
4.1 南中国海地区修改的空中交通服务航
路结构的详细资料和未来修改内容将在适当
的AIP 补充资料中公布。
5. 管制移交
5.1 胡志明ACC 与三亚ACC 之间,在以下报

(ii) To assist in flight planning to calculate whether an aircraft
flying within the lateral limits of A1 or P901 will be affected by
the active periods of Danger Areas ZG(D)155, ZG(D)156,
ZG(D)157 or ZG(D)158, the following time limits can be used as
guidance material. It is to be noted, however, that ground speeds
of 470-490 kt only have been used in arriving at these guidance
time limits to which an allowance of plus or minus 3 minutes for
possible errors in position reporting has also been included.
(a) SW bound traffic on A1: crossing DAGON not earlier
than 1400 UTC and not later than 2143 UTC
(b) NE bound traffic on A1: crossing CAVOI not earlier than
1359 UTC and not later than 2131 UTC
(c) SW bound traffic on P901: crossing IKELA
(1) not earlier than 0025 UTC and not later than 1341
UTC
(2) not earlier than 1655 UTC and not later than 2241
UTC
(d) NE bound traffic on P901: crossing IPROP
(1) not earlier than 0027 UTC and not later than 1343
UTC
(2) not earlier than 1657 UTC and not later than 2243
UTC
(iii) When both A1 and P901 are available, operators should
choose to use A1.
3.3 The minimum longitudinal separation on A1 and P901
is 10 minutes.
4. Revised ATS route structure
4.1 Route details and any future revisions of the revised
ATS route structure in the South China Sea area are to be
promulgated in the appropriate State(s) AIP Supplements.
5. Transfer of control
5.1 Transfer of control is to be effected between Ho Chi
