NOTE: If you replace one low pressure switch, you should

6. Fuel Boost Pump Removal Valve, Vent Valve, and Check Valve and Pressure

A. General
(1)
This procedure is a test for the correct operation of these valves:
(a)
The removal valve for each of the boost pumps
(b)
The discharge check valve for each of the boost pumps
(c)
The redundant check valve (if it is installed) for the aft boost pumps.
(d)
The forward/center redundant check valves (if installed) for the forward boost pumps in the main tank and the boost pumps in the center tank.
(e)
The vent valve for each of the boost pumps in the No. 1 tank and the No. 2 tank.
(f)
The check valve for the fueling line outlet on each of the boost pumps in the center tank.
(2)
It is frequently not easy to find the valve that does not operate correctly. This is because all these valves let leakage go out of the same drain valve if they have leakage. It is a good procedure to do the test of the discharge check valve for the fuel boost pump first. This is because you can isolate it from the other valves, but you can not isolate it fully. If you find the discharge check valve for the fuel boost pump operates correctly, you must make a decision to replace one of these valves:
(a) the removal valve
