A. This procedure has two tasks:

A task to install the fueling receptacle.

Open the access door (6540) for the refuel station (P15 panel).

Make sure the manual defueling valve is closed.

Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is connected (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and open these circuit breakers:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) EP GND FUELING (for the refuel shutoff valves) 2) QTY (for the fuel quantity indicators)

Remove the cap on the fueling receptacle.

Drain the remaining fuel from the receptacle.
(a)
Put a container below the receptacle to catch the fuel.
(b)
Push the poppet valve in the receptacle.
(c)
Let the fuel drain from the receptacle and the manifold.

Remove the mounting screws from the fueling hose adapter.

(8)
Pull the fueling hose adapter down in a straight line until the valve is out of the manifold.
