 (b)  Make sure the arrow in the flow indicator is in the blue band (no fuel flow).

 (5)  On the P5 panel, set the two switches for the center tank boost pumps to ON.
 (a)  To operate the fuel boost pumps in the center tank, you must be in the flight compartment to continuously monitor for the LOW PRESSURE lights. 1) Turn the applicable fuel boost pump switch for the center
 tank to the OFF position if the LOW PRESSURE light stays on.

Set the switch for the LEFT boost pump for the center tank to OFF.

Do a check for fuel flow.

Look at the flow indicator.

 (b)  
Make sure the arrow in the flow indicator is in the blue band (no fuel flow).

Set the switch for the RIGHT boost pump for the center tank to OFF.

_______ LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (16) Remove the locks from the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

_______ AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU EXTEND OR RETRACT THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WITH THE HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

 Retract the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).
