(a) Subtract QTY #1 from QTY #2.
(b) Make sure that between 300 and 400 LBS (137 and 182 KGS) was
transferred from the center tank to the left main tank.
NOTE:____ This shows that fuel flow occurs.

FUEL SCAVENGE JET PUMP - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the jet pump for the fuel scavenge system
(2)
The installation of the jet pump for the fuel scavenge system.
B. The jet pump for the fuel scavenge system is in the No. 1 tank. It is necessary to defuel the No. 1 tank to get access to the jet pump. It is also necessary to extend the leading edge flaps to get access to the parts that attach the pump to the airplane.

(3) Install the locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).
