 NOTE: You can also use an air pressure source with a
____ maximum limit of 1.0 psi to pressurize the pressure hole.

 (b)  PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE WITH THE T-HANDLE TYPE OF RESET; Do these steps to open the pressure relief valve: 1) Put a round rod with a diameter less than 0.415 inch (10.54
 millimeters) into the pressure sense hole in the center of the T-handle. 2) Apply a moderate force to the rod to simulate the pressure differential necessary to open the pressure relief valve.

Remove the surge tank access panel No. 13, 7101L or 7501R, from the surge tank (AMM 28-11-11/401).

Remove the pressure relief valve from the access panel.

 (a)  
Remove the eight mounting screws that attach the relief valve to the access panel (Fig. 402).

 (b)  
Remove the relief valve from the access panel.

 (c)  
Remove the O-ring seal from the flange groove.

 (d)  
Discard the O-ring seal.
