 F.  Test Procedure for the Boost Pumps for the No. 1 and the No. 2 Tanks While the Other Boost Pumps Do Not Operate

 (1)  Set the applicable boost pump switch for the applicable tank on the P5 panel to the ON position.
 NOTE: This procedure is applicable to the forward and the aft
____ boost pumps for the No. 1 and the No. 2 tanks.

 (2)  Do a check that the fuel pressure increases correctly.
 (a)  
On the P5 panel, make sure the LOW PRESSURE light for the applicable boost pump goes off.

 (b)  
If the light does not go off, do the procedure to prime the fuel boost pump (AMM 28-22-41/401).


 NOTE: The MASTER CAUTION lights and the FUEL annunciator
____ lights stay on if the fuel pressure increases or if it does not increase.

 (3)  When the LOW PRESSURE light for the boost pump goes off, put the switch for the applicable boost pump to the OFF position.
 (a)  Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light comes on.

 G.  Test Procedure for the RH and the LH Boost Pumps for the Center Tank While the Other Boost Pumps Do Not Operate
 S 715-061
 (1)  Open the circuit breaker for the applicable boost pump on the P6 panel.
 (a)  
Open the BOOST PUMP CTR TANK RIGHT circuit breaker to do a test of the RH boost pump for the center tank.

 (b)  
Open the BOOST PUMP CTR TANK LEFT circuit breaker to do a test of the LH boost pump for the center tank.

Set the switch for the applicable boost pump to the ON position.

 (3)  
Make sure the LOW PRESSURE light for the applicable boost pump goes on.

To operate the fuel boost pumps in the center tank, you must be in the flight compartment to continuously monitor for the LOW PRESSURE light.

Close the applicable circuit breaker.

Make sure the applicable LOW PRESSURE light on the P5 panel goes off.

If the LOW PRESSURE light does not go off, do these steps: 1) Turn the applicable fuel boost pump to the OFF position. 2) Do the procedure to prime the fuel boost pump
