(5) Remove the two mounting screws and washers from the left side of the control stand to remove the two switches, two roller actuators, two block spacers and two shims.
NOTE: The two screws extend through the left bracket, switches,
____ actuators, spacers and shims to engage nutplates in the right bracket.
(a)
Keep the shims for the installation.
(b)
Keep the mounting screws and use them to install the switch again if the mounting screws are in a good condition.

S 434-009
(1) Install the two switches, two roller actuators, two block spacers and two shims with the two mounting screws and washers as follows:
(a)
Install the washers on the screws.
(b)
Push the screws through the left bracket and the left switch and roller actuator.
(c)
Push the screws through the left block spacer and shim.
(d)
Push the screws through the right switch and roller actuator.
(e)
Push the screws through the right block spacer and shim; engage the screws in the nutplates on the right bracket and tighten.

(2) S 224-016Do a check of the clearance between the head of the rivet that holds the roller on the actuator with the edge of the start drum; there must be a minimum clearance of 0.05 inch (1.27 millimeters). (a) If the clearance is less than 0.05 inch (1.27 millimeters), remove the old shims and install new shims; peel the shims to get the correct clearance.
(3) S 434-010Connect the three wires to the switch and tighten the terminal screws (WDM 28-21-01).
NOTE:____ The terminal screws on the bottom of the switch are marked to show common (C), open (NO), and closed (NC).
(a) Remove the tape from the wires.
(4) S 714-012Do the task: Fuel Shutoff Valve Switch Adjustment/Test (AMM 28-22-12/501).
(5) S 414-013Install the bottom and top access panel on each side of the pilot's control stand.
