FUEL SCAVENGE SHUTOFF VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the shutoff valve for the fuel scavenge system
(2)
The installation of the shutoff valve for the fuel scavenge system.
B. The shutoff valve for the fuel scavenge system is in the No. 1 tank. It is necessary to defuel the No. 1 tank to get access to the shutoff valve. It is also necessary to extend the leading edge flaps to get access to the parts that attach the shutoff valve to the airplane.
