H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Disconnect the vacuum pump.

Remove the vacuum gage.

Connect the two engine fuel-feed hoses that you disconnected before (AMM 20-50-11/201).

Close the two left fan cowl panels, 5746 and 5846, that you opened before (AMM 71-11-02/201).

Do these steps to remove the plugs from the bypass valve inlets:
(a)
Loosen the bolts that attach the bypass valve to the engine fuel-feed tubing.
(b)
Remove the bolt that holds the plug in its position.
CAUTION:_______REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE FLANGE CAREFULLY. DAMAGE TO THE O-RING IN THE FLANGE CAN OCCUR.
(c)
Remove the plug from the flange.
(d)
Put the bolt that you removed in the flange again.
(e)
Tighten the bolts on the flange to give a good seal (AMM 20-50-11/201).

Open all the removal valves for the boost pumps manually
(AMM 28-22-41/401).

Install the small clearance panels below the handles on the FWD boost pumps for the main tank.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(8) Remove the flap locks from the leading edge flaps
(AMM 27-81-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE
_______ AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU EXTEND OR RETRACT THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WITH THE HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Retract the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Install the access panels for the fuel boost pumps.
NOTE: Make sure the removal valves for the boost pumps are open
____ before you install the access panels.
(a)
Install the access panel for the boost pump in the aft main tank.
(b)
Install all the access panels for the fuel boost pumps in the center fuel tank.

(11) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) FUEL CONT NO. 1 AFT NO. 2 FWD CTR L 2) FUEL CONT NO. 1 FWD NO. 2 AFT CTR R

WARNING:_______DO THE FUEL TRANSFER PROCEDURE TO REMOVE AIR POCKETS. AIR POCKETS CAN CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STOP IN FLIGHT.
