(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) APU CONT

(2)
Disconnect the electrical plug from the APU shutoff valve.
(3)
Disconnect the bonding jumper from the APU shutoff valve.

CAUTION: HOLD THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY UP TO MAKE SURE ITS WEIGHT IS NOT
_______ ON THE SHAFT. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SHAFT.

Hold the actuator assembly up and remove the mounting screw.

Remove the actuator assembly.
(a)
Carefully move the actuator assembly away from the mounting adapter until the output shaft is out of the mating part.
(b)
Lift the actuator assembly out of the airplane.

(1) Apply a thin layer of the grease to the keyway of the output shaft.

CAUTION: HOLD THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY UP TO MAKE SURE ITS WEIGHT IS NOT
_______ ON THE SHAFT. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SHAFT.
(2) Put the output shaft into the input shaft.
(a)
Turn the output shaft until the keyway is aligned with the key in the input shaft.
(b)
Carefully move the output shaft into the input shaft until the actuator mounting lugs touch the mounting adapter.

If the mounting holes on the actuator assembly are not aligned with the mating holes, carefully turn the assembly to align the holes.

Install mounting screws on the actuator assembly.
(5)
Connect the bonding jumper to the actuator assembly.
(6)
Do a check of the electrical bond (AMM 20-22-01/601).

NOTE: The bonding resistance must not be more than 0.01 ohm.
