(1)
Prepare the applicable fuel tank for entry (AMM 28-10-00/201).

Remove the access panels for the applicable tank to get access to the float valve (AMM 28-11-11/401, AMM 28-11-31/401).
(3)
Remove the bolts that attach the float valve to the structure.
(4)
Remove the float valve.

Install the O-ring in the O-ring groove on the float valve.

Hold the float valve in the correct position and install the bolts.

Make sure there is no color identification tape on the components in the fuel tank.

Make sure the tank is clean.

SHROUD DRAIN LINE - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. This procedure has one task. The task is to drain the APU shroud space. Drain the shroud space regularly to find collected fluids which did not go out of the drain mast. You can also examine the fluids for too much fuel. Too much fuel in the collected fluid shows a leak in the APU fuel line or the auxiliary fuel tank. The auxiliary fuel cavity drain line is interconnected to the APU shroud drain mast.
