 S 424-031 CAUTION: DO NOT LOOSEN OR PUT THE O-RING OUT OF ITS CORRECT SHAPE

 WHEN YOU INSTALL THE VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY. MAKE A GOOD SEAL. THE O-RING WILL NOT
 (4)  Install the valve body assembly. (a) One person out of the tank and one person in the tank are necessary for this task. (b) The person in the tank must put the valve body assembly in the correct position between the fittings on the APU line. (c) The person out of the tank must hold the valve body assembly up until it is installed. (d) Install the adapter and the mounting screws for the valve body assembly.
 (5)  S 434-033Attach the APU fuel line to the valve body assembly.
 (6)  S 434-034Do this task, "APU Shutoff Valve Actuator Assembly Installation".
 (7)  S 414-035Install the access panel (7202) for the No. 1 fuel tank (AMM 28-11-11/401).

 A.  This procedure has one task, an operational test of the APU shutoff valve.

 2.  APU Shutoff Valve Operational Test (Fig 501)__________________________________
 A.  Access
 (1)  Location Zones
 101 Control Cabin Left
 102 Control Cabin Right
 310 Left Wing Wheel Well

 B.  Procedure
 S 865-015
 (1)  Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) APU CONT

 (2)  
Set the battery switch to the ON position.

 S 715-017

 (3)  
Set the APU master switch to the ON position.

 (a)  Make sure the valve override handle moves to the OPEN position.

 (4)  
On the engine and APU fire control module on the control stand aft electronic control panel, P8, pull the APU fire handle.

 (5)
Make sure the valve override handle moves to the closed position.

 S 715-022

 (6)  
On the engine and APU fire control module on the control stand aft electronic control panel, P8, push the APU fire handle in to the stowed position.

 (8)  S 715-024On the APU remote fire control panel, P28, on the aft bulkhead of the right main wheel well, pull the APU remote fire handle.
