(5) If bonding jumpers are installed on the check valve, remove the bolt, the washer, and the nut that connect to each bonding jumper.
(a) Keep the bolts, nuts and washers for the installation procedure.

Go into the applicable fuel tank (AMM 28-10-00/201).

Prepare to install the fuel feed check valve.
(a) Loosely attach the clamps to the support brackets.

(3) Install the fuel feed check valve to the fuel feed line.
(a) Put the coupling nut on the fuel feed check valve.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUT THE RETAINING RING OUT OF ITS CORRECT SHAPE.
_______ YOU CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE RING AND LEAKAGE AT THE FITTING.
(b) Tighten the coupling nut with your hand until it is tightly engaged.

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE YOU USE TWO WRENCHES TO TIGHTEN THE FITTINGS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FITTING OR LOOSEN THE ADJACENT FITTINGS.

Tighten the bolts, the washers, and the nuts that attach the fuel line clamps to the support bracket.

Clean the mounting surfaces for the bonding jumpers with the solvent.

Install the bolt, the washer, and the nut to connect each bonding jumper.

Do a check of the bonding resistance between the fuel line and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00).
(a) The bonding resistance must not be more than 0.01 ohm.

Do a coupling vacuum test for leaks (AMM 28-22-00/201).

Do the Engine Fuel-Feed Pressure test to check for leakage (AMM 28-22-00/201).
