SUBTASK 27-51-55-420-001
(1) Install the tee angle gearbox assembly [1]:
(a) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts [4].
(b) Put the tee angle gearbox assembly [1] in its position on the structure.

(c) Install the bolts [4], washers [5], washers [6] and nuts [7] to attach the tee angle gearbox
assembly [1].
SUBTASK 27-51-55-420-002
(2) Install the u joint assembly [8]:
(a) Put the u joint assembly [8] in its position between the transmission [9] and the tee angle
gearbox assembly [1].
(b) Install the bolts [10], washers [11] and nuts [12] that attach the u joint assembly [8] to the
transmission [9] and the tee angle gearbox assembly [1].

(c) Install the wire bundle on the bracket on the tee angle gearbox assy [1].

(3) Connect the torque tubes [13] to the tee angle gearbox assembly [1]:
(a) Apply grease, D00633 to the coupling sleeves [2].
(b) Put the splined couplings [14] in the coupling sleeves [2].
(c) Install the screws [3] to attach the torque tubes [13] to the tee angle gearbox assembly [1].
(d) Install lockwire on the screws [3].
(e) Remove the clamp set, SPL-1726 from the torque tube [13] outboard of the tee angle
gearbox assembly [1].

(4) If the torque tubes [13] moved, while they were disconnected, do this task: Trailing Edge Flap
Drive System Adjustment, TASK 27-51-00-820-802.

(5) Lubricate the torque tubes [13], u joint assembly [8] and tee angle gearbox assembly [1]:
(a) To lubricate the torque tubes [13], do this task: Trailing Edge Flap Torque Tube and
Torque Tube Support Lubrication, TASK 12-22-51-640-801.
(b) To lubricate the u joint assembly [8] and the tee angle gearbox assembly [1], do this task:
