SUBTASK 27-51-41-420-007
(1) Install the transmission assembly [64]:
NOTE: The transmission assembly [64] weighs approximately 50 pounds (23 kilograms).
(a) Apply a thin layer of compound, C00913 to the mating surface of the transmission
assembly [64], the transmission attach fitting [63], the drive rod attach fitting [96] and the
wire bracket [85].
(b) Apply a layer of compound, C00913 to the bolt holes in the transmission assembly [64].

(c) Apply a layer of compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts [86], bolt [97] and
bolt [98].
(d) Carefully lift the transmission assembly [64] to its position on the transmission attach fitting
[63].
(e) Put the drive rod attach fitting [96] in its position on the transmission assembly [64] and
install the bolt [97] and bolt [98] and washers [87] through the lower bolt holes.
(f) Loosely install the washers [88] and nuts [89] on the bolt [97] and bolt [98] to hold the
transmission assembly [64].
(g) Put the wire bracket [85] in its position on the transmission assembly [64].
(h) Install the bolts [86], washers [87], washers [88] and nuts [89] to attach the transmission
