(c) Connect the electrical connectors.

(4) Connect the rod assemblies [8] to the column cutout switch arms [3]:
(a) Install the rig pin E-1 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585 through the left forward control quadrant.
(b) Install the rig pin ST-4 from the rig pin kit, SPL-1585 in the column cutout switch.
(c) Remove the lockwires from the rod assembly [8].
(d) Turn the jamnuts [7] until you can easily install the bolt that connect the rod assembly [8] to
the column cutout switch arm [3].
(e) Install the bolt [4], washer [5], and nut [6] to connect the rod assembly [8] to the column
cutout switch arm [3].
(f) Tighten the jamnuts [7].
(g) Install the lockwire, G01048.
(h) Remove the rig pin E-1 from the left forward control quadrant.
(i) Remove the rig pin ST-4 from the control column switch.

(1) Remove the stabilizer trim wheel [1] from the control stand [7]:
(a) Remove the bolt [2] that attaches the stabilizer trim wheel [1] to the shaft.
(b) Remove the stabilizer trim wheel [1] from the shaft.

(2) As necessary, remove the upper side cover [3] and lower side cover [5] from the right side of the
control stand [7]:
(a) Remove the screws [6] and the pocket assembly [8] from the lower side cover [5].
(b) Remove the screws [4] that attach the upper side cover [3] and the lower side cover [5] to
the control stand [7].
(c) Remove the upper side cover [3] and the lower side cover [5] from the control stand [7].

(c) Install the screws [6] in the pocket assembly [8] and the lower side cover [5].

(2) Install the stabilizer trim wheel [1] on the control stand [7]:
(a) Install the stabilizer trim wheel [1] on the shaft with the handle 90 +/- 15 degrees apart
from the handle on the other stabilizer trim wheel.
(b) Install the bolt [2] that attaches the stabilizer trim wheel [1] to the shaft.
