(a) Remove the nuts [19], washers [18], washers [17] and bolts [16] that attach the ballscrew
assembly [2] to the yoke [4].
(b) Remove the ballscrew assembly [2] from the yoke [4].
NOTE: You can turn the ballscrew assembly [2] and the gimbal assembly [14] to get
access to remove the ballscrew assembly [2].
(c) Remove the ballscrew assembly [2] with the gimbal assembly [14].

(4) If it is necessary, remove the gimbal assembly [14] from the ballscrew nut [13]:
(a) Remove the bolts [12], washers [11] and collars [10] that attach the gimbal bushings [5] to
the gimbal assembly [14].
(b) Remove the gimbal assembly [14] from the ballscrew nut [13].

(1) If you removed it, install the gimbal assembly [14] on the ballscrew nut [13]:
(a) Apply grease, D00633 to the inside and outside mating surfaces of the gimbal bushings [5].

(b) Apply grease, D00633 to the outside surfaces of the gimbal bushings [5].

(c) Put the gimbal assembly [14] in its location on the ballscrew nut [13].
(d) Install the gimbal bushings [5] through the gimbal assembly [14] on the ballscrew nut [13].
(e) Install the bolts [12], washers [11] and collars [10] to attach the gimbal bushings [5] to the
gimbal assembly [14].

(2) Connect the ballscrew assembly [2] to the yoke [4] on the transmission [3]:
(a) Turn the ballscrew nut [13] until it is at the forward end of the ballscrew assembly [2].
