(a) Remove the screw [8], washers [9] and nut [10] that attach the jumper wire [7] to the motor
assembly [2].
(b) Remove the bolts [4] and washers [3] that attach the motor assembly [2] to the PDU [1].
(c) Remove the motor assembly [2] from the PDU [1].

(1) Make sure that this circuit breaker is open and has safety tag:

(2) Install the motor assembly [2]:
(a) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 to the splined shaft [6] on the motor assembly [2].
(b) Fill the area between the motor assembly [2] and the PDU [1] with grease, D00633.
(c) Apply a thin layer of compound, C00913 to the mating surface of the motor assembly [2] and
the PDU [1].
(d) Put the motor assembly [2] in its position on the PDU [1].
(e) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts [4].

(f) Install the bolts [4] and washers [3] to attach the motor assembly [2] to the PDU [1].
(g) Tighten the bolts [4] to 50-60 pound-inches (5.7-6.7 newton-meters) more than the run-on
torque.
(h) Install lockwire on the bolts [4].
SUBTASK 27-51-53-420-002
(3) Connect the jumper wire [7] to the motor assembly [2]:
(a) Install the screw [8], washers [9] and nut [10] to attach the jumper wire [7].
(b) Make sure the resistance between the jumper wire [7] and the motor assembly [2] is less
than 0.4 milliohms.
NOTE: When you measure the resistance, the probe can be closer than 0.25 inches (6.4
millimeters) to the jumper terminal.
(c) Put a fillet seal of sealant, A02315 or sealant, A00247 around the two ends of the screw [8].

(4) Before you connect the electrical connector [5], examine the connector for corrosion.
