(e) At the inboard side of the outboard flap support, make sure that DIMENSION Y is 4.61
±0.10 inch (117.094 ±2.54 mm).
(f) At the outboard side of the outboard flap support, make sure that DIMENSION Y is 4.46
±0.10 inch (113.284 ±2.54 mm).
(g) At the outboard end of the aft flap, make sure that DIMENSION Y is 4.06 ±0.10 inch (103.124
±2.54 mm).

(14) If the position of the seals [54] are not in the limits, adjust the position of the seals [54]:
(a) Remove the rig pins from the bellcranks [12].
(b) Extend the aft flap assembly [2], until you can get access to the fasteners for the seals [54].
To extend the flaps, do this task: Extend the Trailing Edge Flaps, TASK 27-51-00-860-803.
(c) Adjust the position of the applicable seal [54]:
1) Loosen the bolts [53] that attach the seal [54].
2) Move the seal [54] forward or aft.
3) Tighten the bolts [53].

(d) Retract the aft flap assembly [2] until you can install the rig pins in the bellcranks [12]. To
retract the flap, do this task: Retract the Trailing Edge Flaps, TASK 27-51-00-860-804.
(e) Install the rig pins in the bellcranks [12].
(f) Make sure the distance between the seals [54] and the aft flap assembly [2] are in the limit.
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(4) Retract the trailing edge flaps to the retracted position. To retract the flaps, do this task: Retract
the Trailing Edge Flaps, TASK 27-51-00-860-804.

1. General
A. This procedure contains a task to do an inspection of the attachment points for the outboard aft flap.
The attachment points are the aft flap drive rods and the aft flap tracks.

(a) micrometer (0-1 Inch, readable to 1/1000 Inch), STD-1096
(b) readable to 1/1000 inch vernier 0 - 6 inch caliper, STD-1097.
