E. Flap Control Quadrant Removal
SUBTASK 27-51-62-020-001
(1) Disconnect the cable assembly [1], WFA and WFB from the quadrant [5]:
(a) To get access to the turnbuckles [3], do this task:
Open this access panel:
Number Name/Location
112A Forward Access Door
or remove this access panel:
Number Name/Location
114AC Fwd Nose Wheel Well Upper Access Panel
(b) Remove the locking clips [2] and loosen the turnbuckles [3] on the cable assembly [1].
(c) Remove the pin [8], pin [6] and the two spacers [7] from the quadrant [5].
(d) Remove the straps [10] that attach the cable assembly [1] to the quadrant [5].
(e) Remove the pins [4] that attach the cable assembly [1] to the quadrant [5].
(f) Remove the cable assembly [1] from the quadrant [5].
SUBTASK 27-51-62-020-002
(2) Remove the quadrant [5] from the flap control unit [9]:
(a) Remove the nut [11] and washer [15] that attach the quadrant [5] to the flap control unit [9].
(b) Remove the quadrant [5] from the flap control unit [9].
