(a) Remove the bolt [99], washer [98] and washer [96] that attach the jumper wire [97] to the
flap skew sensor [100].
(b) Remove the bolts [91] and washers [92] that attach the flap skew sensor [100] to the sensor
input assembly [94].
(c) Remove the flap skew sensor [100] from the sensor input assembly [94].

(2) Install the flap skew sensor [100]:
(a) Apply grease, D00633 to the packing [95].

(b) Install the packing [95] on the flap skew sensor [100].
(c) Apply grease, D00633 to the shaft of the flap skew sensor [100] and the splines on the
sensor input assembly [94].
(d) Apply a thin layer of compound, C00913 to the mating surface of the flap skew sensor [100]
and the sensor input assembly [94].
(e) Engage the shaft on the flap skew sensor [100] with the sensor input assembly [94].
NOTE: The shaft has a missing tooth on the splines.
(f) Engage the alignment pin on the sensor input assembly [94] with the hole in the flap skew
sensor [100].
(g) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts [91].
(h) Install the bolts [91] and washers [92] to attach the flap skew sensor [100].
(i) Install the bolt [99], washer [98] and washer [96] to attach the jumper wire [97] to the flap
skew sensor [100].
(j) Make sure the bonding resistance between the flap skew sensor [100] and the jumper wire
[97] is less than 8 milliohms.
(k) Apply a bead of sealant, A02315 or sealant, A00247 to the head of the bolt [99].

(3) Before you connect the electrical connector [93], examine the connector for corrosion.
