(8) Adjust the applicable limit switch [9] or limit switch [10]. To adjust the limit switch, do this task:

(9) Install lockwire on the nuts [18] for the limit switch [10].

(10) Install lockwire on the nuts [15] for the limit switch [9].
SUBTASK 27-51-63-410-001
(11) Install the switch cover [8] on the flap control unit [1]:
(a) Put the switch cover [8] in its location on the flap control unit [1].
(b) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the screws [7].
(c) Install the washer [21] and screws [7] that attach the switch cover [8].
F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(2) Do the applicable test of the limit switch:

Test, TASK 27-51-63-720-801.
(b) For the TE Flap Down switch [10], S246, do this task: Flaps DOWN Limit Switch, S246
Functional Test, TASK 27-51-63-720-802.
(c) For the TE Flap UP switch [9], S1051, do this task: Feel Differential Pressure Light - Test,
TASK 27-31-00-700-811.

FLAP LIMIT SWITCHES - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) An adjustment of the flap limit switches
(2) A functional test of the Flaps UP limit switch S245
(3) A functional test of the Flaps DOWN limit switch S246.

2. Flaps Limit Switch Adjustment
(Figure 501)
A. General
(1) This task is applicable to the TE Flaps UP switch, S245, the TE Flaps DOWN switch, S246, and the
TE Flaps UP switch S1051.
(2) The flap drive system and the cables must be correctly adjusted before you do this task.
