SUBTASK 27-51-65-420-003
(1) Install solenoid valve assembly [21] in the flap control valve assembly [6]:
(a) Apply fluid, D00153, or MCS 352B fluid, D00054 to the new packing [22].
(b) Put the packing [22] and gasket [19] in their locations on the solenoid valve assembly [21].

(c) Put the solenoid valve assembly [21] in its position on the flap control valve assembly [6].
NOTE: Make sure the electrical connector on the solenoid valve assembly [21] engages
the electrical connector in the flap control valve assembly [6].
(d) Install the screws [20] to attach the solenoid valve assembly [21] to the flap control valve
assembly [6].
(e) Tighten the screws [20] to 25-35 pound-inches (2.9-3.9 newton-meters).
(f) Install lockwire on the screws [20].

(2) Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

(4) Make sure there are no hydraulic leaks from the flap control valve assembly [6].

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Service the system B hydraulic reservoir. To service the reservoir, do this task: Hydraulic
Reservoir Servicing, TASK 12-12-00-610-801.

WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES, THE
THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE COMPONENTS CAN MOVE
SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Supply system B hydraulic power, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
