D. Procedure
SUBTASK 27-59-02-480-001
WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) If the downlock pins are not installed in the nose and main landing gear, do this task: Landing
Gear Downlock Pins Installation, TASK 32-00-01-480-801.

(2) Do this task: Trailing Edge Flap System Deactivation, TASK 27-51-00-040-801.

(3) Open these circuit breakers and install safety tags:

(4) Disconnect the electrical connector [123] from the flap skew sensor [121].

(5) Remove the nuts [134], washers [133], bushings [132], washers [131] and bolts [130] that attach
the control rod [129] to the crank arm [137] and to the carriage [135].

(6) If the flap skew sensor [121] is installed, remove the bolt [138], washer [139] and washer [140]
that attach the jumper wire [128] to the flap skew sensor [121].

(7) Remove the sensor input assembly [122]:
(a) Remove the nuts [127], washers [126], washers [125] and bolts [124] that attach the sensor
input assembly [122] to the flap track [136].
(b) Remove the sensor input assembly [122] from the flap track [136].
