(1) Remove the rig pin, STD-4592 [14] from the cam follower arm [13] and the valve cam [12].
SUBTASK 27-51-65-410-002
(2) Install the lower pan [10] on the flap control unit [1]:
(a) Put the lower pan [10] in its location on the flap control unit [1].
(b) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the screws [11].
(c) Install the washers [21] and screws [11] to attach the lower pan [10] to the flap control unit
[1].

TRAILING EDGE FLAP CONTROL VALVE - REPAIRS
1. General
A. This procedure includes a repair of the trailing edge flap control valve.
B. You can use this procedure if there is too much internal leakage in the control valve. This procedure
can reduce the internal leakage by approximately one-half. It is not necessary to remove the control
valve from the airplane to do this procedure.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) If the downlock pins are not installed in the nose and main landing gear, do this task: Landing
Gear Downlock Pins Installation, TASK 32-00-01-480-801.
