(c) Tighten the nut [26] to 125-175 pound-inches (14.1-19.7 newton-meters).
(d) Tighten the nut [35] to 30-50 pound-inches (3.4-5.6 newton-meters).
(e) Make sure the mismatch between the crank arm [23] and the rigging flange [21] is in the
limit.
(f) Install lockwire between the nut [35] and the locking key [28].
(g) Install lockwire between the nut [26] and the locking key [25].
H. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
SUBTASK 27-59-00-820-003
(1) If it was necessary to disconnect the torque tubes from the transmission, adjust the flap drive
system (Figure 501). To adjust the flap drive system, do this task: Trailing Edge Flap Drive
System Adjustment, TASK 27-51-00-820-802.
NOTE: You will connect the torque tube [3] to the transmission and install the flap position
transmitters in the adjustment procedure.

(2) Do this task: Trailing Edge Flap System Reactivation, TASK 27-51-00-440-801.
SUBTASK 27-59-00-860-001
(3) Retract the trailing edge flaps to the retracted position. To retract the flaps, do this task: Retract
the Trailing Edge Flaps, TASK 27-51-00-860-804.
