(4) Disconnect the aft end of the flap track [1] from the structure:
(a) Remove the nut [6], washer [5], washer [4] and bolt [3] that attach the outboard side of the
flap track [1] to the structure.
(b) Remove the nut [7], washer [8], washer [10] and bolt [11] that attach the inboard side of the
flap track [1] to the structure.
(c) Measure the thickness of the shim [9].

(5) If you will install a new flap track [1], remove the transmission attach fitting assembly [2] from the
flap track [1]:
(a) Remove the nuts [26], washers [24] and bolts [27] that attach the transmission attach fitting
assembly [2] to flap track [1].
