WARNING: DO THE STEPS BELOW IF THE AIRPLANE OPERATES AT AIRPORTS WHERE
DEICING FLUID THAT CONTAIN POTASSIUM FORMATE IS USED. ALSO DO THE
STEPS FOR ALL AIRPLANES THAT YOU FOUND CORROSION IN THE
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS IN THE MAIN WHEEL WELL. THE ELECTRICAL
CONNECTOR IS PART OF A SYSTEM THAT IS NECESSARY FOR SAFE FLIGHT.
(a) If there was corrosion, refer to (SWPM 20-60-03) to correct the problem.
(b) Apply the D5026NS or ZC-026 compound, G50171 to the connector (SWPM 20-60-03).

(5) Connect the electrical connector [5] to the motor assembly [2].
(6) Service the motor assembly [2](Trailing Edge Flap Electric Motor Servicing,
TASK 12-22-51-610-805).

TEE ANGLE GEARBOX - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the tee angle gearbox
(2) An installation of the tee angle gearbox.
B. The tee angle gearbox is installed on the bulkhead aft of the inboard transmissions for the inboard
flap.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOWNLOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING GEAR.
WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCK PINS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE
INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) If the downlock pins are not installed in the nose and main landing gear, do this task: Landing
Gear Downlock Pins Installation, TASK 32-00-01-480-801.

(2) Do this task: Trailing Edge Flap System Deactivation, TASK 27-51-00-040-801.
E. Tee Angle Gearbox Removal
SUBTASK 27-51-55-020-001
(1) Disconnect the torque tubes [13] from the tee angle gearbox assembly [1]:
(a) Install a clamp set, SPL-1726 on the torque tube [13] outboard of the tee angle gearbox
assembly [1].

(b) Remove the screws [3] that attach the coupling sleeves [2] to the splined couplings [14].
(c) Move the coupling sleeves [2] off the splined couplings [14].
SUBTASK 27-51-55-020-002
(2) Remove the u joint assembly [8]:
(a) Remove the nuts [12], washers [11] and bolts [10] that attach the u joint assembly [8] to the
transmission [9] and the tee angle gearbox assembly [1].
(b) Remove the u joint assembly [8].

(c) Remove the wire bundle from the bracket on the tee angle gearbox assy [1].

(3) Remove the tee angle gearbox assembly [1]:
(a) Remove the nuts [7], washers [6], washers [5] and bolts [4] that attach the tee angle
gearbox assembly [1] to the structure.
(b) Remove the tee angle gearbox assembly [1].
