SUBTASK 27-51-26-420-001
(1) If the downstop is not installed on the applicable aft flap track, do these steps:
(a) Install the bolt [26], bushings [28], washer [27], washer [29] and nut [30] on the aft flap track.
(b) Tighten the nut [30] the minimum amount to necessary to hold the bushings [28] tight.

(2) Install the aft flap track assembly [6] in the main flap [1] (View D):
(a) Carefully put the aft flap track assembly [6] in its position in the track support rib [22] in the
main flap [1].
NOTE: Make sure the downstop is forward of the forward cartridge location.
(b) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 or grease, D00015 to the outside of the cartridge
assemblies [21] and the inside diameter of the track support rib [22].
(c) Put the cartridge assemblies [21] in their position in the track support rib [22].
NOTE: Hold the aft flap track assembly [6] in its position while you install the cartridge
assemblies [21].
(d) Install the bolts [19] and washers [20] that attach the cartridge assemblies [21] to the track
support rib [22].

(3) Install the aft flap track assembly [5] in the main flap [1] (View E):
(a) Carefully put the aft flap track assembly [5] in its position in the track support rib [22] in the
main flap [1].
NOTE: Make sure the downstop is forward of the forward cartridge location.
(b) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 or grease, D00015 to the outside of the cartridge
assemblies [21] and the inside diameter of the track support rib [22].
(c) Put the cartridge assemblies [21] in their position in the track support rib [22].
NOTE: Hold the aft flap track assembly [5] in its position while you install the cartridge
assemblies [21].
(d) Install the bolts [23] and washers [24] that attach the cartridge assemblies [21] to the track
support rib [22].

(4) Install the aft flap track assembly [3] or aft flap track assembly [4] in the main flap [1] (View F):
(a) Carefully put the aft flap track assembly [3] or aft flap track assembly [4] in its position in the
track support rib [22] in the main flap [1].
NOTE: Make sure the downstop is forward of the forward cartridge location.
(b) Apply a layer of grease, D00633 or grease, D00015 to the outside of the cartridge
assemblies [25] and the inside diameter of the track support rib [22].
(c) Put the cartridge assemblies [25] in their position in the track support rib [22].
