CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(8) Move the ALTERNATE FLAPS ARM switch to the OFF position to disarm the alternate control
system.

(9) Remove the flap position transmitter from the airplane. To remove the transmitter, do this task:
Flap Position Transmitter Removal, TASK 27-58-01-000-801.
NOTE: Do not move the flaps to the extended position to remove the position transmitter. Be
careful not to move the shaft on the position transmitter when you remove it.

SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(10) Supply system B hydraulic power, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
NOTE: You can use the ACMP to pressurize the hydraulic system.

(11) Move the flap control lever to the 15-unit position to move the trailing edge flaps.
(a) Wait for the trailing edge flaps to move to the 15 unit position.

(12) Remove system B hydraulic power, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power Removal,
TASK 29-11-00-860-805.

(13) Remove the safety tags and close these circuit breakers:

(14) Install the flap position transmitter. To install the flap position transmitter, do this task: Flap
Position Transmitter Installation, TASK 27-58-01-400-801.
NOTE: Do not move the flaps to the extended position to install the position transmitter. Be
careful not to move the shaft on the position transmitter more than necessary when you
install it.
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
