Disconnect the inboard end of the actuator beam (1) from the actuator beam arm (8).

Remove the beam hanger shaft (4).
 (a)  
Hold the actuator assembly and remove the bolts that attach the ends of the beam hanger shaft (4) and stud assembly (18) to the brackets on the structure.
 (b)  
Lower the outboard end of the actuator assembly to get access to the beam hanger shaft (4).
 (c)  
Write the quantity and locations of spacers (16) at the ends of the beam hanger shaft (4) and the stud assembly (18) for use on the installation.
 (d)  
Loosen the stud assembly (18) and remove it from the beam hanger shaft (4).
 (e)  
Remove the beam hanger shaft (4) from the beam hanger (15).
