(2) S 034-007Loosen the steering cables at their turnbuckles on the outer side of the left bulkhead of the nose wheel well.
(3) S 034-008AIRPLANES WITH THE SPRING PINS; Disconnect the steering cables as follows: (a) Remove the lockwire (30) from the spring pins (32) at the terminal ends of cables NWSA and NWSB, which lie in a groove in the steering collar (33). (b) Remove the spring pins (32). (c) Remove the NWSA and NWSB cable terminals from the groove in the steering collar (33).
(4) S 034-088AIRPLANES WITH THE COTTER PINS; Disconnect the steering cable as follows: (a) Remove the cotter pins (35). (b) Remove the NWSA and NWSB cable terminals from the groove in the steering collar.
(5) S 034-009Remove the lockwire from the cap screw (22) and the nut lock (21) on the inboard side of the left trunnion pin.
(6) S 034-089Remove the cap screw (22) and the nut lock (21).
(7) S 034-010Use spanner wrench (face lug adapter) and remove the left trunnion pin nut (19).
(8) S 034-011Pull the pressure seal (24) and the ring (25) inboard from the inboard end of the left trunnion pin.
NOTE:____ You can use the eye of the eyebolt (26) (which holds the pressure seal segments together) to pull the seal from the trunnion pin.
(9) S 034-012Remove the eyebolt (26). (a) Remove the pressure seal retainers (27, 28) from the pressure seal segments. (b) Isolate the segments around the steering cables.

NOTE: You can pull the cables through the pulley bracket after

Pull the cables through the trunnion pin nut (19), the ring (25), and the trunnion pin (20).

Wind the cables into coil on the outer side of the left bulkhead of the nose wheel well.

(a) Disconnect the electrical plug.

Disconnect the mounting clamps which hold the safety sensor conduit to the shock strut.

Remove the lockwires from the jamnut (12) and the lockwasher (11) on the left and the right trunnion pins.
