WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES IN THE
_______ LANDING GEAR TO PREVENT THE ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE GEAR. IF THE LANDING GEARS RETRACT, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO STRUCTURE.

Pressurize the hydraulic system A.
(j)
Use the override trigger to move the landing gear lever from the DN position to the UP position for three times.
NOTE: Hold the lever in each position for three seconds before
____ you move the landing gear lever to the subsequent position.
(k)
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.
(l)
Make sure the rod end of the lock actuator tries to retract when you move the landing gear lever from the DN position to the OFF position.
(m)
Move the landing gear lever to the DN position.
(n)
Do a check for leakage with the hydraulic pressure applied.
(o)
Decrease the pressure from the hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(p)
Make sure there is no leaks in the hydraulic connections.
(q)
Examine the hydraulic reservoirs for the correct servicing.
(r)
Do a servicing if it is necessary.

1. Nose Gear Modular Package Removal (Fig. 401)_________________________________
A. Equipment
(1)
Ground Lock Assemblies (Ref 32-00-01).

Prepare for the procedure

Make sure you install the ground lock assemblies for the landing gear (Ref 32-00-01).
(a)
Decrease the pressure from the hydraulic system A (Ref 29-15-00, MP).
C.
Procedure
S 034-003
(1)
Disconnect and seal the hydraulic lines connected to the modular package.
(a)
Remove the bolts and washers that hold the modular package. 1) Remove the package from the airplane.
(b)
Remove the hydraulic unions.
(c)
Discard the O-ring packings.
NOTE: Seal the ports.

Remove the plugs.
(a)
Install the hydraulic unions in the hydraulic package with new O-ring packings.
(b)
Fill the package with the hydraulic fluid.
NOTE: Put a cap on the unions.

(c) Put the package in its position on the bracket.

Install a washer on each mounting bolt.
(e)
Put the bolts through the package to the bracket.
(f)
Tighten the bolts and hold the package.
(g)
Remove the caps and the plugs.
