SEE INSPECTION/CHECK SECTION AT PARTICULAR JOINT TO FIND THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE
SERVICE CLEARANCE. FOR VIEW A-A AND VIEW B-B THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED AXIAL CLEARANCE IS 0.008 INCHAFTER SHIM INSTALLATION.

 NOSE LANDING GEAR TRUNNION BEARING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure contains two tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the trunnion bearing on the nose landing gear.

 (2)  
The installation of the trunnion bearing on the nose landing gear.

 B.  
The trunnion bearing is removed if it has damage or worn areas. It is necessary to remove the nose landing gear to get access to the trunnion bearing.
