Remove the steering cylinder (AMM 32-51-51/401).
 (b)  
Do a check on all the interfacing dimensions of the bearings, bushings, and the attachment bolts of the steering cylinder.
 (c)  
Remove the steering collar (AMM 32-51-61/401).
 (d)  
Do a check on all the interfacing dimensions of the steering collar, and the steering collar bearing.

 Replace the parts which show signs of worn areas.

 After installation of the steering cylinder and steering collar components, do one more check of the torsional free play.
