Disconnect and put a plug on the hydraulic lines.
(b)
Remove the bolts and washers that attach the package to the structure.
(c)
Remove the package from the airplane.
NOTE: Write the spacer on the lower bolt.

(d) Remove the hydraulic unions from the package and discard O-ring packings. Plug ports.

Install hydraulic unions in package with new O-ring packings.
(a)
Fill package with hydraulic fluid and cap ports.
(b)
Place modular package in position with two hydraulic fittings up.
(c)
Install a washer on each mounting bolt.

(3) Remove ground lock assemblies and perform an operation test of main gear only (Ref 32-32-00, A/T). Cycle gear retraction several times to bleed air from package and lines.
(4) S 214-008Check package hydraulic connections for leaks.
(5) S 714-009Extend gear.
(6) S 844-010Lower airplane and remove jacks.

Procedure to Remove the Transfer Cylinder of the Main Landing Gear

Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 32-00-01/201).

Remove the pressure from the hydraulic system A (Ref 29-15-00/201).

Disconnect the hydraulic lines attached to the cylinder.
