NOSE LANDING GEAR WHEEL WELL DOOR LINKAGE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
________
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the door linkage of the wheel well from the nose landing gear.
(2)
The installation of door linkage of the wheel well on the nose landing gear.

2. Nose Landing Gear Wheel Well Door Linkage Removal (Fig. 401)

Procedure to Remove the Door Linkage of the Wheel Well

(1)
Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Disconnect the door operator rod (5) from the door forward hinge (6).

Remove the bolt (4).
(a)
Disconnect the operator rod from the crank assembly (3).

Remove the bolt at each end.

Remove the link assembly (8).

Remove the crank assembly (3).
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the spring pin (15) at the inboard end of the door operator bolt (14). 1) Remove the spring pin.
(b)
Remove the nut (13) from the door operator bolt.
(c)
Remove the crank assembly from the door operator bolt.

(6)
Remove the door operator bolt.
(a)
Remove the aft access panel (11) in the wheel well of the nose landing gear from the side on which you will remove the linkage.
(b)
Remove the antirotation bolt (17) at the outboard end of the door operator bolt (14).
(c)
Remove the door operator bolt from the support fitting (12).
