1. General
_______
A. The actuator assembly for the main landing gear includes the actuator, the actuator walking beam, and the beam hanger. You must remove the complete assembly to change each component.
B. This procedure contains the tasks that follow:
(1)
Removal of the actuator assembly for the main landing gear
(2)
Installation of the actuator assembly
(3)
Procedure to bleed the actuator for the main landing gear with the airplane on jacks
(4)
Procedure to bleed the actuator with the airplane on the ground.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE
_______ LANDING GEAR. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Make sure the ground lock assemblies are installed on the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).
(2)
Remove the pressure from the hydraulic system (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(3)
Remove the hydraulic access panels 8401 left, or 8501 right.

Disconnect the pushrod (10) for the outer wing door from the trunnion link (9).
