Apply BMS 3-27 (Mastinox 6856K) to the trunnion pin (20) and to the faces of lockwashers (11) (AMM 12-21-21/301).

Install the lockwashers (11) and the jamnuts (12).

Tighten the jamnuts (12) on each trunnion pin to 500 - 600 pound-inch lube torque.

Make sure there is no clearance between the spherical bearing and the trunnion bearing flange after you tighten the jamnuts (12).
