Ground Lock Assemblies (AMM 32-00-01/201)

Prepare for the removal

Make sure you install the ground lock assemblies for the landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Decrease the pressure on the hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Procedure

(1) Disconnect the hydraulic lines (7) from the lock actuator (6).
NOTE: Put a plug on the hydraulic lines.

(a)
On airplanes with the bracket (13), remove the bracket (13).
(b)
Disconnect the bottom end of the actuator (6) from the bracket
(3)
on the bulkhead.
(c)
Remove the upper attachment bolt (11).
(d)
Remove the lock actuator (6) from the airplane.
(e)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the actuator.
(f)
Discard the O-ring packings.
NOTE: Put a plug on the ports.

Prepare for the installation

Remove the plugs.
(a)
Install the hydraulic fittings in the actuator with new O-ring packings.
(b)
Extend the actuator rod 1-3/16 inches from the full retraction.
(c)
Fill the actuator with hydraulic fluid.
(d)
Put a cap on the ports.
