Attach one operator rod end to the end of the crank assembly with the bolt (4) (with corrosion preventive compound), the flat washer, the shear nut, and the cotter pin.

Apply a thin layer of corrosion preventive compound to the shank of the bolt (7).
(d)
Attach the lower rod end of the operator to the center hinge fitting of the door with the bolt (7) (with corrosion preventive compound), the flat washer, the shear nut, and the cotter pin.

NOSE LANDING GEAR WHEEL WELL DOOR LINKAGE - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General
________
A. This procedure contains a task to adjust and examine the door linkage of the nose wheel well on the nose landing gear.
B. This procedure also contains a task to check the clearance between the steering actuator rod ends and the doors. Do this task during the adjustment of the doors.

Procedure to Adjust the Door Linkage of the Wheel Well on the Nose Landing Gear

Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

NOTE: It is necessary to lower the support jack of the tail while

Remove the lockwire from the jamnut and the rod end lock on each end of the door operator rod and the aft link assembly, if it is adjustable.

NOTE: Loosen the jamnut only if you will turn the operator rod, or
____ the aft link assembly, for adjustment. If you loosen the jamnut too much it will disengage the rod end lock from the end of the rod barrel.
