Position the flaps to ten units using "B" system hydraulic pressure.

Verify the indicator on the bypass valve is at Position 1 (OPEN).

Put the landing gear lever in the OFF position.

Rotate the AOA vane counterclockwise to the stops.

Verify the indicator on the bypass valve moves to Position 2 (CLOSED). After the indicator shows that the valve is in the CLOSED position, listen to the valve motor and make sure that the motor is not operating.

Rotate the AOA vane clockwise back to its "zero" position.

Verify the indicator on the bypass valve moves to position 1 (OPEN). After the indicator shows that the valve is in the OPEN position, listen to the valve motor and make sure that the motor is not operating.

Position the flaps to the full up position.

Reconnect the push pull cable to the right hand main gear upper torsion link (no adjustment is necessary).

Restore the aircraft to normal condition.

B. Do an Inspection of the Flow Limiter Bypass Valve for Airplanes that Have STALL MANAGEMENT COMPUTERS

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE
_______ LANDING GEAR. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure the ground lock assemblies are installed in the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

(6) Put the aircraft main gear in air mode by disconnecting the push pull cable from the right hand gear upper torsion link and extending the cable.
