REFER TO THE OVERHAUL MANUAL FOR REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS DISTANCE BETWEEN INNER LUG FACES ON BELLCRANK ASSEMBLY DISTANCE BETWEEN FLANGE FACES OF BUSHINGS IN HOOK ASSEMBLY INSTALL THE BOLT HEAD AFT ON LEFT SIDE ASSEMBLIES. INSTALL THE BOLT HEAD FORWARD ON RIGHT SIDE ASSEMBLIES. REPLACE WORN BUSHINGS MINIMUM BUSHING FLANGE THICKNESS 0.050 INCH IF THE TOTAL AXIAL CLEARANCE IS MORE THAN 0.030 AND THE BUSHING FLANGES ARE AT LEAST 0.050 INCH THICK, INSTALL SHIMS (69-43962-5,-6) UNTIL THE TOTAL AXIAL CLEARANCE IS LESS THAN 0.021 INCH. MINIMUM BUSHING FLANGE THICKNESS 0.053 737-400 AIRPLANES 737-300/-500 AIRPLANES THE TOTAL DIAMETRAL CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE BEARING RACE, BEARING BALL, AND BOLT MUST NOT BE GREATER THAN THE SPECIFIED MAX. DIA CLEARANCE.
